Though Epiphone was long famous for its own original semi-hollowbody models from the 1960’s Kalamazoo, Michigan era including the Riviera and Sheraton, the simple classic ES-335 style was missing, especially among the more affordable models. The Epiphone Dot was introduced over ten years ago, and since then, Epiphone’s version of the venerable Gibson ES-335 “Dot” has been wowing guitar players all over the world.
